Growing flowers

The Flowerfield is situated at the Southern end of the Wicklow Mountains. A gentle westerly slope offers good growing conditions. Mature trees and hedgerows provide shelter as well as foraging opportunities. From the beginning I decided not to fight the Irish climate and to grow flowers and foliage that thrive here. These cottage garden flowers are grown and harvested sustainably. We actively encourage biodiversity and wild life. In 2019 we added a hive of honey bees. Fingers crossed they will come through their first winter ok.
